Ultrasound

Our practice is committed to providing our patients with the highest quality of care by utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and performing extensive and thorough exams.

We are pleased to announce that we have recently updated both of our ultrasound suites with GE Voluson E8 which is equipped with an independent monitor for you viewing comfort. This is the top of the line model that GE offers in women's healthcare.

We are accredited by American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) in OB/GYN ultrasound. This accreditation insures that our facility provides excellent patient care while meeting the nationally accepted standards in diagnostic ultrasound practices, with qualified personnel and the most current technology and equipment.

Our Ultrasound Services Include:

  • 1st-3rd Trimester obstetrical ultrasounds
  • Second trimester detailed evaluation of fetal anatomy
  • Gynecologic Ultrasounds
  • Sonohysterogram (SIS)--You will first have a transvaginal ultrasound exam to evaluate the pelvic organs. A small catheter will then be inserted into the uterus through the cervix and a small amount of saline solution (salt water) will be injected through the catheter. The saline solution fills the uterine cavity which enables visualization and detection of any abnormalities inside the uterus.
  • Breast, Abdominal and Thyroid ultrasound
